General Terms & Conditions
Short-Term Accommodation
These General Terms & Conditions apply to all direct bookings made for accommodation offered by Villa des Ammonites. By confirming a booking, the guest acknowledges having read and accepted these terms.
1.Booking
The accommodation is provided as a furnished short-term rental for the dates specified in the booking confirmation.
A booking becomes confirmed once the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by the host.
The booking is personal to the guest and may not be transferred to another person without prior agreement from the host.
2.Rates & Payment
The total price, payment schedule and any applicable charges are indicated at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated, the price covers the accommodation for the dates and number of guests specified in the booking confirmation.
Any additional services or charges agreed during the stay may be invoiced separately.
3.Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM.
Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Guests must return the accommodation and any keys or access devices according to the instructions provided by the host.
4.Guests & Occupancy
The accommodation may only be occupied by the number of guests declared at the time of booking and must not exceed its maximum capacity.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
Subletting or transferring the booking to a third party is not permitted without prior written approval.
5.Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required before check-in. The amount and payment method will be communicated as part of the booking conditions.
The deposit may be used to cover damage to the accommodation, furniture or equipment, as well as missing items, lost keys or other costs resulting from failure to comply with these terms.
Subject to inspection of the accommodation, the deposit will be released or refunded after check-out.
6.House Rules
Guests are expected to respect the accommodation, the property and the neighbourhood.
Parties and events are not permitted unless expressly authorised in advance.
Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation.
Excessive noise, particularly at night, must be avoided.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their group during their stay.
7.Internet Access
Wi-Fi access is provided for guests’ convenience.
Guests must use the internet connection in accordance with French law and must not use it for illegal downloading, copyright infringement or any other unlawful activity.
8.Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
The host cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9.Cancellation & Changes
Cancellation and modification conditions applicable to each reservation are those displayed and accepted by the guest at the time of booking.
Any request to change the dates, number of guests or accommodation is subject to availability and confirmation by the host.
10. Damage & Exceptional Cleaning
Guests must leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition.
Any damage, missing items or exceptional cleaning required as a result of the stay may be charged to the guest, where justified.
Guests are encouraged to inform the host promptly of any damage or incident occurring during their stay.
11. Applicable Law
These General Terms & Conditions and all direct bookings are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties should first attempt to reach an amicable solution before taking further action.
12. Acceptance
By completing a booking, the guest confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these General Terms & Conditions as well as the applicable house rules.
